After the destruction of a number of ponds in my local area Wirral in the Northwest of England', due to commercial development, I decided to build a pond in my garden and populate it with Frog spawn that I collected from the doomed ponds.
The exercise was a success and I added to the gene pool when a local garden centre offered Frogs spawn free to good home. After a number of years I have a large and thriving Frog community.

Identifying Frogs
At the present time all the images you can find on Frogs-
Some helpful features which can be helpful in identified frogs are the paratoid gland, the dark area behind the eye, the vocal sac which can be below or at the side of the mouth, the ear drum, dorsal folds, Webbing and pads on the feet and hands and the length of the legs.

with the decline in natural habitats the suburban garden has become an important refuge for all types of wild life. To sustain our wildlife friendly gardening needs to be encouraged with methods for creating a helpful environment for creatures to survive.

To encourage wild life to your garden can in its self be rewarding in benefits and enjoyment. Photography can add another dimension to this experience and create a visual record of visitors.
With a few exceptions and except were credited all the images of the Common Frogs on this web site were taken in the same suburban garden in the North West of England.
